STD Carriers Back Online Following Offshore Hosting Disaster

STD Carriers Disease Control and Prevention Services is greatly relieved to announce that it is back online to continue the fight to protect the purity and the essence of your natural fluids from incurable Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) after a disaster crippled and nearly killed our server as it sat peacefully undisturbed in the hands of our gracious overseas hosts. The cause of the incident still remains unknown, but we are grateful to be back online protecting your health as well as your confidentiality thanks to effort and functional thinking of our always capable hosts.

The day started off like many others in recent months the rejection of a demand by Network Solutions to censor a user was followed with relocation all STD Carriers server to the Far East. The webmaster had returned home from a long day of consulting at a local business in need out of the goodness of his heart when he noticed that the site was offline. As usual he assumed that it was a routine suspension of services to conserve bandwidth and that like every other time it was our most enlightened hosts playing it safe by shutting off our unmetered bandwidth service before it could run the risk of approaching the established bandwidth limits officially imposed on those who paid less for their hosting packages. Unfortunately a simple support ticket would not turn the system back on within the time period normally considered acceptable by our great benefactors. Instead we faced a disaster the likes of which is rarely seen.

Thursday, December 23rd 2010 is a date that will live in infamy for STD Carriers and associated websites several of which were suddenly and brutally crippled by unforeseen dangers. Danger that disabled our webmasters email account, rendered our database inaccessible, locked us out of our Plesk Control Panel, disabled FTP access to the file system, and even exposed sensitive administrative login data for a brief moment in a way that would have posed a risk to protected user information if the entire system had not already been incapacitated to the point where use of the data became impossible. Eventually through a few days of support tickets and consistent levels of reassurance from those unfortunate enough to be working on Christmas and for our hosting company we are back online ready to serve you as the always cautious administration of bandwidth permits backed by a brand new layer of encryption for your protection.

It has been a hard few days for STD Carriers and associated services after which we appreciate your patronage, patience, and understanding with any unforeseen difficulties during this recover process. There are two phases to this process the first of which will be to complete a series of tests to verify that the system has regained full functionality. Once functional we will look to new horizons in an effort to serve you better. Please report any difficulties you experience using the service using the contact us form.
