I contracted herpes in May 2009 and based on the nature of my test results - negative blood test initially due to insufficient antibodies present, followed by a positive culture test - I am certain I got it from Cameron Monzie. My test results indicated that it was a recent exposure (thus, no antibodies present on initial testing) and I had not had sex with anyone but him in over a year. There is no way I could have contracted it otherwise. In the time since, he has refused to get tested and I have had another (minor) outbreak. I am no longer in a relationship with him, but know that he has continued to sleep with other women.
Other: I assume that he has not disclosed this to anyone based on him telling me recently that he has not gotten tested. It's horribly irresponsible of him to behave this way and though I am now forever impacted by this, I hope no one else will be affected by this the way I have. If this helps even one person, it's worth it to me.
