STD Carriers 2.0 an International Resource for STD Prevention

Portland, 6/21/2009 –Today we are proud to announce STD Carriers 2.0 the first international database for reporting known carriers of incurable Sexually Transmitted Diseases in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland,and Australia.Every day thousands of people contract an incurable Sexually Transmitted Disease such as HIV/AIDS,Genital Herpes, Genital Warts, HPV, or Hepatitis C. Many of these cases could have been prevented if the infected partner had informed other of their condition. That’s where we come in, because many people who carry an incurable STD are aware of their condition and decide to engage in sexual activity without telling their partners.

Originally launched in the United States last October STD Carriers has been featured on CNN and countless blogs. Our STD Carrier list includes a mixture of celebrities like Pamela Anderson and David Hasselhoff with AIDS criminals like Philippe Padieu of the United States, Carl Leonne of Canada, Andre Chad Parenzee of Australia, and Mohammed Dica of England along with people reported by duty-bound members of the public.

STD Carriers started as just a user driven list of names, but STD Carriers 2.0 is much more. We now have over 200streaming videos about STDs from around the web, flash games including every Jake’s Booty Call Episode, and a collection of threats, rants, and raves from numerous sources.

New membership features allow users to place comments about any reported STD Carrier, video, or flash game, make changes to any STD Carrier profile they create, and create a STD Free Person profile that can be administered just like a My Space profile.
