Mayor Mel contracted Hepatitis C during a blood transfusion in 1989 while he was still mayor of North York, Ontario. He was elected mayor of Toronto and served until his retirement in 2003. It has been reported that he started to appear frail on the job due to his Hepatitis.
Other: Lastman was the subject of a judicial inquiry in 2002 over the misappropriation of about $43 billion of tax payer money in which he admitted that he had no idea how the cities funds had been spent.

3/13/2012 - He never was my favourite mayor, but this was a surprise. I just wonder if he knows he is on your site. I saw your expose on AC this week and you are the lowest of the low. The people that 'claim' someone has these ailments, have them send you medical records 'before you allow any postings.
