Former WBO World Heavyweight Champion Tommy "The Duke" Morrison tested positive after a routine HIV screening while he prepared to for a fight against Arthur "Stormy" Weathers in 1996. The fight that would have been shows on Showtime was canceled and his career never recovered.
In 2011 Tommy's mental health was called into question when he denied having HIV on the grounds that he believes that HIV does not exist.
It should be noted that he started to stink before he got AIDS.
Other: Tommy is best known for his role as the mediocre wanna be Rocky boxer Tommy "Machine" Gunn in Rocky V in which Tommy and Rocky (Sylvester Stallone) settled their differences with a street fight (see video below).
