Red Hot Chili Peppers lead singer Anthony Kiedis claims to have cured the incurable STD Hepatitis C with herbal medicine according to media reports. The singer most likely contracted the deadly disease during years of hardcore drug abuse from the late 80s to the late 90s when he was addicted to heroin, cocaine, and alcohol while also using the medicinal herb Marijuana for recreational purposes.
Intravenous heroin use like that which Kiedis engaged in is a well known high risk factor for Hepatitis C and other blood born illnesses especially when needles are shared. Kiedis is also known for having a large number of girlfriends over the years.
Anthony Kiedis's band Red Hot Chili Peppers should need no introduction. They have won many awards and have sold millions of albums.
