Didier Lestrade is French journalist and magazine publisher best known for his AIDS activism. He was diagnosed with HIV in 1986 while working as a writer for Frances leading gay newspaper. He then went on to create the French chapter of the AIDS activist group ACT UP in Paris which made him one of the most recognizable gay rights advocates in France. He later became a popular author and is currently a blogger.
