Fastball singer and guitarist Tony Scalzo blames heroin, cocaine, and amphetamines for infecting him with Hepatitis C sometime before 1992. Despite his life threatening illness and habits Tony still managed to join the rock band Fastball in the mid-1990s before releasing several bestselling records. He is still performing today.
