Best known as Abdullah the Butcher professional wrestler Lawrence Robert Shreve has been accused of infecting other wrestlers with Hepatitis C. He was first accused by Devon "Hannibal" Nicholson who was denied a WWE contract after testing positive for Hepatitis C following a match in which Abdullah cut him with a razor blade. Hannibal had tested negative before wrestling Abdullah who was caught on camera cutting himself and then cutting Hannibal.
Abdullah is best known for cutting himself and other people in every match he takes part in. Superstar Billy Graham suggested in the film "Don't Bleed on Me" that Abdullah is mentally ill and has an obsession with cutting people. It is Abdullah's cutting of other wrestlers that creates a co-mingling of blood likely to infect them.
After testing positive Hannibal's lawyer demanded that Abdullah produce negative test results. Abdullah refused to get tested.
Superstar Billy Graham opted out of the WWE Hall of Fame to protest the induction of Abduallah the Butcher in 2011.
