Laura Michelle Helm of Atlanta, Georgia sued the singer Usher saying that he gave her genital herpes (HSV2). Eventually the lawsuit was dismissed on her own motion, so she probably settled it. Usher never denied having sex with her or exposing her to herpes just that she should have known that she could get herpes from unprotected sex and that she could have gotten it from someone else.
She also sued Golden Rule Insurance Company, United Healthcare, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana saying that an insurance broker took photos of her application and sent them to a blog. Someone in that position would be subject to dissemination restrictions due to HIPAA which is why a regular person can legally use this website to out people but a healthcare professional can't.
