This singer first found out about his Hepatitis after the release of his album "With These Hands" in 1996. In 2006 he told Stomp and Stammer magazine that he does not know how he got the virus, but assumes the source was among the people he partied with in the 1970s. "You can get [hepatitis-C] from tattoos, or shootin' up drugs, or borrowing someone's razor blade or straws" he said.
