Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross was diagnosed with anal cancer in 2009 and doctors believe that it came from the same type of HPV that was responsible for her husband's throat cancer. Cross married stock broker Tom Mahoney in 2006 and he was diagnosed with throat cancer sometime in 2009. This leads to one obvious question, did Tom Mahoney toss Marcia Cross's salad? How else could a man with throat cancer give his wife anal cancer? Sure, he could have given it to her through anal intercourse, but he had throat cancer, not testicular or penile cancer. Obviously sticking his tongue in her ass must be the culprit.
The Desperate Housewives star said she went public with her condition last year to destigmatize anal cancer. Some way of doing it. Maybe that is a better job for someone that does not claim to have gotten it from someone with any sort of throat or oral cancer.
