Cameron Alexandria Adams is best known under her porn name Cameron Bay. She tested positive for HIV in 2013 and blamed unprotected sex with a bleeding penis for giving her the disease. Like most porn stars that get STDs she thought she was relatively safe because of the testing process that should screen out STDs. The problem with that is that the process is done at regular intervals that are not regular enough to screen every performer before every shoot. As a result such people get STDs from the real world and bring them onto the set. That is why Cameron Bay became a crusader for condom use in the porn industry even though she could have made her men use condoms if she wanted them to. Porn actresses that require condoms get less work at lower rates, so they usually decide to chance it and cry foul later. For that reason a condom law is the only possible solution that would allow women like her a safer workplace without costing them employment opportunities.
Bay and other infected persons Rob Daily and Patrick Stone sued Kink.com for failing to protect them. It is not clear what exactly happened with that lawsuit. If they could prove their claims then Kink would be in for some real trouble. According to media reports there were allegedly gaping holes in testing and computer systems that led to performers testing positive for HIV and being approved to work anyway.
Hopefully Ms. Adams has learned that it probably is not a good idea to have sex with a man whose penis is bleeding.
Cameron Bay is on Twitter at cams_funboxxx where she advocated against porn and posts pictures of her new daughter.
That Twitter handle is something one would expect from a former porn star that can only do solo cam work now.
Before porn she was a contestant on the MTV reality show Tool Academy.
