Known for his role as Monroe Ficus on the 80's sitcom "Too Close for Comfort" a title that Jim Bullock now associates with people forgetting the struggles of the "Dark Ages" of AIDS. Bullock went on to be a regular guest on John Davidson's "Hollywood Squares" and briefly co-hosted the "Jim J. and Tammy Faye Show" in 1996.
This profile has been updated to include a video from a "Where are They Now" special by Oprah in which Jim J. Bullock talks about being a gay meth addict in the 1980s that was so highly sexually active that his doctor recommended he be tested for HIV. He goes on to describe what it was like to get the phone call saying he was HIV positive.
