HIV/AIDS – The Deadly Epidemic Targeting Your Immune System

Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome are by far the most serious STDs. Once HIV turns into full blown AIDS your immune system is basically shot, exposing you to a wide range of potentially deadly conditions resulting from what a healthy person’s body would be able to fight off. These include lymphoma and other cancers commonly referred to as "AIDS related cancers" due to people with AIDS having a much higher infection rate than normal people. HIV and AIDS can be treated with a collection of expensive anti-viral drugs commonly known as an "AIDS Cocktail".
