Friends - The VD Poster Featuring Joey

In season 1 of the NBC series Friends Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc) is horrified to find himself on a VD posters all over New York City. A far cry from the smile he had on his face when he walked into the “Central Perk” coffee shop wearing makeup while bragging to Chandler (Matthew Perry), Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow), Monica (Courtney Cox), and Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) about having just posed as a male model for the “City Free Clinic”, but Joey had no idea what advertising campaign he just posed for.

Sometime later Joey recognizes a good looking woman he used to work before asking her out on a date. Everything looks to be going well for him until she sees something, freaks out, and leaves. Joey turns around to see himself on a poster promoting VD testing with the caption “you never know what Mario is not telling you” along with “VD” down at the bottom followed by “you never know who might have it”. This is followed by a great deal of public embarrassment including a montage of his face plastered all over the city.
